Last updated April 14, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how napqin collects, uses, stores, and discloses information when you use the platform.

1. Information We Collect

We may collect account information such as your email address, name, phone number, and authentication details.

We may also collect content you submit to the platform, including pasted text, transcripts, notes, questionnaires, agreement drafts, signatures, audit records, invitations, and exported contract files.

2. How We Use Information

We use information to operate the platform, create draft agreements, maintain account access, support contract workflows, store history, generate exports, improve performance, and respond to support requests.

We may also use information to monitor abuse, enforce platform policies, and protect the platform, users, and third parties.

3. AI and Processing

Contract inputs may be processed by automated systems and third-party infrastructure providers in order to generate draft outputs, identify missing items, or support transcription and workflow features.

Contract inputs may be processed by OpenAI, our AI sub-processor, for draft agreement generation, transcription, and related features. OpenAI processes data under its data processing agreement and does not use platform inputs for model training.

You should not submit information you are not permitted to disclose, and you remain responsible for determining whether use of the platform is appropriate for any confidential or sensitive matter.

4. Storage and Retention

We store account data, contract drafts, versions, signatures, audit history, and related records for as long as needed to operate the service, satisfy legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our terms.

Retention periods may vary depending on account status, feature usage, and operational or legal requirements.

5. Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with service providers that help us operate the platform, including hosting, storage, authentication, email, analytics, and security vendors.

We may also disclose information where required by law, court order, legal process, or where reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, property, or the integrity of the platform.

6. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information, but no system is completely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your own account credentials and devices.

7. Your Choices

You may update certain account details through the platform. You may also contact us to request account-related assistance.

Where applicable law gives you rights relating to access, correction, deletion, or portability, you may contact us and we will evaluate the request in accordance with applicable law and operational limits.

8. International Use

If you access napqin from outside the United States, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in jurisdictions that may have different data protection rules than your own.
